NEWS RELEASE November 2016
Market for Cartridge Filter Resins, Adhesives, Fibers, Coatings and Binders to Exceed $4.8 Billion by 2021
The market for liquid filtration cartridges will exceed $19 billion in 2021. The cartridge producers will spend $9.5 billion for media, end caps, netting and adhesives. The media suppliers will spend $4.8 billion for resins, fibers, coatings and adhesives.
Cartridge filters used to purify liquids are constructed of a number of different materials. Synthetic materials are used either in a nonwoven or membrane configuration. Membrane cartridges are distinguished from membrane cross-flow modules which are covered in a separate McIlvaine report.
